Becco - visit website Becco opened its doors in Decemeber 1996. Since its establishment it has been as an integral part of the Melbourne dining scene. Eleven years on there have been some minor changes: the produce store is now an exclusive private dining room surrounded by the restaurants wine and produce. The Bellavista Social Club was opened in December 2001 above the restaurant, operating as a late night bar and function venue. The restaurant encapsulates simplicity with a vast attention to detail. Split over three levels the space is divided by leather banquettes, the décor is timeless and white linen table clothes, wooden chairs coupled with the leather banquettes and classic terrazzo flooring create a simple but beautiful dining experience. The open kitchen aids in creating a bustling and vibrant atmosphere, whilst also allowing a rare glimpse into the inner workings of a successful kitchen. |
